Our Consortium between Eastern Green Power and Hangzhou Jinjiang Group have been awarded by NEA to design, build and operate the pilot Mechanical & Biological Treatment (MBT) Plant in Singapore.
The MBT plant will treat the municipal solid waste (MSW) by extracting the recyclables such as metals, plastics etc through the mechanical sorting and the remaining waste will be converted into solid recovered fuel (SRF) through the biological treatment.
With the biological treatment and the recyclables removed, the SRF produced will have a higher CV and can be used to produce high temperature, high-pressure steam to power high-efficiency turbine-generators, thus greatly increases the electricity output.
