Responsibilities:
- Setup and generating business leads for the company’s renewable energy business unit
- Resourceful, knowledgeable in the renewable energy market, and aware of related events and news in exploring business opportunities
- Risks review of potentials business opportunities
- Identify the potential of new businesses within the renewable energy sector;
- Follow up leads & organize site visits.
- Prepare and present the proposal to prospects and clients
- Strategic to develop contingency plans as needed when problems arise
- Assist in submissions and bids for tenders
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Electrical Power or Clean Energy) or equivalent
- At least 2 years of business development experience in the renewable energy sector
- Working knowledge or similar experiences in Clean Energy, Sustainable Energy, Solar Energy is required
- Great Interest and passion in the renewable-energy industry
- Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counterpart
Local Market 22kV Distribution power system equipment
- Experience on sales and marketing of SPPG, LTA, industrial Market on 22kV Distribution equipment including transformer, switchgear, protection, and auxiliary equipment.
- Call on existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and orders.
- Work independently to develop the new sales pipeline, generating sales plans, developing pricing strategies, and create competitive advantages for the company
- Determine most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions
- Perform sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives; contribute to the P&L
- Analyze customers’ needs and recommend solution that best meets the customers’ requirements.
- Remain knowledgeable of company’s products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on industry information sources
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Electrical Power) or equivalent
- At least 5 years of sales & marketing experience in the power distribution for local market
- Working knowledge or similar experiences in substation is preferred
- Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counterpart
